The mission of “Faces of
the World, Inc.” is
to empower people around the world through art. Founder,
Stephen Bennett travels and paints portraits of the people
he meets and joins with local schools as a volunteer teacher
conducting hands on portrait-painting workshops.
These
Workshops help instill self-pride and empowerment in
Stephen's students. They illuminate the unique and
valuable cultures
of indigenous peoples worldwide.
Whenever Stephen returns
to New York, he shares his portraits, the students
self-portraits and cultural knowledge with school
children throughout
the United States to promote global understanding
and compassion. |
